Conveyor belt alignment needed Line 2
Conveyor belt on packaging Line 2 is tracking to the right by approximately 1 inch. Belt edge is rubbing against frame causing friction wear. Applied temporary tracking adjustment but it needs proper alignment with laser tool. If belt continues to drift, product may fall off at transfer point. Maintenance WO #45901 submitted.
Calibration due on weigh scales
Packaging department weigh scales WS-PK-01, WS-PK-02, and WS-PK-03 are due for quarterly calibration this week. Calibration stickers expire Friday. If not calibrated by Friday, scales cannot be used for production weighing per SOP-QA-011. PrecisionCal Inc is on-site Wednesday for lab instrument calibration - coordinate to include packaging scales in their scope.
Case packer jam frequency increasing
Case packer on Line 2 experiencing increased jam frequency - 4 jams in last 3 hours versus normal rate of 1 per shift. All jams are in the same location (carton erector section). Cleaned and lubricated guides. Jams may be related to new carton supplier material being slightly thicker. Production supervisor aware.
