Certificate of Analysis for incoming raw material RM-4421 (natural vanillin, Lot VN-8834) shows moisture content of 0.8% but our incoming QC test measured 1.4%. Specification limit is 1.0% max. Material placed on hold in warehouse (Rack W-05-A). Contacted supplier for investigation. Do not release to production without QC manager approval.
