Spray dryer inlet temp running high
Spray dryer tower #2 inlet temperature trending 15 degrees above setpoint (actual 410F vs SP 395F). Adjusted steam control valve manually. Temperature is oscillating. Suspect the temperature transmitter TT-2104 may be drifting. Process engineer has been notified. DO NOT increase feed rate until temperature stabilizes.

New SOP for dust collection
New SOP-SD-042 for dust collection system filter bag replacement has been drafted and is in review. Key changes from old procedure: added LOTO requirements for bag house fan, added respiratory protection requirement during bag removal, added bag disposal procedure (double bag in poly liner). All spray drying operators must read and sign before next filter change scheduled in 2 weeks.
